Hi peeps,
Just joined 5 mins ago, so hello! drinksallround
Bought today a 1997 Peugeot 2.5 Diesel Autosleeper Executive,4 berth, collect it on Sunday, IF I make it back (700 m round trip, a good test!) I'll come back & may ask questions etc. thanksverymuch
Retired a month ago, always wanted one, but no time etc. didn't want to spend too much 'cos I don't know if we'll take to it or not!!
Driving it won't be a problem as I've been lugging big twin axle trailers around for over 20 years with transits & a Range Rover.

You have picked a good van to start off motohoming with feel sure you will enjoy it. The Exec is a good all rounder not too big, not too small,narrow enough for most roads.

Thanks for your kind welcome,
Didn't buy the Executive, but we went for a bit newer (1998 - quite tidy ) 2.5 Talisman, This doesn't have the 2 long bench,s but 2 forward & 2 rearward facing seats, & only 37k on the clock, this we feel is more for us!
Should collect later this week after the cheque clears!
Get ready for a possible barrage of questions!
