Hello
Hello everyone
I've joined this forum to gain some knowledge and hopefully purchase an Auto sleeper Nuevo SE sometime this year.
We (a family of 2 adults and children aged 5 & 8) have been dreaming of a camper for some years now. Before kids we used to have a VW LT35 which was great fun and at the time and the best we could afford. Unfortunately, we had to keep spending money to fix the never ending rust so sold it.
Since we've camped everywhere with the kids but we now desperately need some better levels of comfort and I quite frankly have had enough of packing everything , but the kitchen sink, just to away for a few days!
So we've been looking and have been to October's caravan and motorhome show and again went this weekend to the show and have finally decided we love the Nuevo ES. Slight problem is that for a new one we need to win the lottery!
So we're now looking for a second hand model and would love to hear your reviews, likes and dislikes. Also, we wanted to stay to under 6 metres but someone has suggested the Broadway model because you get a larger downstairs bed. Again, would welcome your thoughts on this.
Many thanks

Re: Hello
Welcome to the forum.
We have had a Nuevo ES 2009 plate for about a year and a half now. We love it, as do the grandchildren even though they've only travelled and played in it so far.
If you put Nuevo in the search box you will find lots of posts about the good and bad points that should help you choose.
They don't stay long on sale so you might have to act quickly when you see what want.
Regards
Fred

from Warrington
Good luck with your search, personally if it had to be a Pug, I would choose the Nuevo..
I know its smaller and has less space but with the right model / layout IMO would be a better bet (read about Broadways in the coachbuilt section!)

Re: Hello
And welcome to this friendly, informative and even addictive Forum from a very wet South Wales!
Like you, Travellingpenny, we had great fun going camping around Europe when the children were small. But the jump to a motorhome in 1988 (an Autosleeper VHT) introduced us to civilisation: heating; WC etc!
We've had a Clubman for 17 years, but arrival of granschild means we need at least 3 seatbelts. So, doing some SKI-ing, we're getting a Nuevo ES in a few days time. We chose that because our motorhome must be under 6m long. The Nuevo fits the bill perfectly.
Keep searching! I hope you're successful soon.

Re: Hello
Welcome. I was like you. Had a super Trident but got fed up with putting the driveaway awning up all the time. -- Old age-- I did my research and ended up with a Nuevo ES and as oldfred says they don't stay up for sale long.
