Re: Roundabouts
Indicate the direction that your front wheels are pointing or about to point. Works every time.

As stated by many already, on a roundabout I indicate right if exiting anything past "twelve o'clock" and then change to left-indicator as I pass the exit prior to mine.
That seems totally unambiguous to me. Just wish all road users would do that as well so I knew what they were doing!

Re: Roundabouts
That must confuse people when you enter the roundabout unless you intend taking the first exit left.maricardo wrote:Indicate the direction that your front wheels are pointing or about to point. Works every time.

Re: Roundabouts
On the subject of roundabouts and indicating anyone tried the roundabout roundabouts of Colchester?

So glad they built a new bypass so I don't have to negotiate it too often on visits to Essex. I lived there some years ago and they were always trying new configurations out on the old Clacton main road, just to catch people out no doubt.

Re: Roundabouts
How many have noticed in Scotland they have signs situated on the approach to roundabouts requesting drivers indicate their intensions.
And most do
And most do
