Hello from London Empty Hello from London

Just saying Hello. Have come here to get some help with our 12 year old Auto-sleeper Trooper that we just bought. We've a young family, live in North London, and are hoping this will be our ticket to a few adventures in the next few years.

Hi, I have been trying to introduce myself but keep going round in circles on the mobile site so I hope nobody minds me using Steve' s thread to say hello and ask for some advice (I'm in north London too). Have just bought a lovely T4 high top autosleeper which has broken down within 5 days of buying it. Not a big problem I think but rescue man pointed out rust under windscreen. Any ideas where I could get this sorted and what sort of price?

Hello and asof_welcome2 to  both of you, adventures await. hope you get your issues sorted soon and soon to be happy camper regards,
Margaret

Sounds like air in the system, there are other threads on forum on how to clear that, when that is sorted might be an idea to drain everything down saves a lot of expense later if van freezes up. I use mine all the year round, it is my only vehicle, I have drained down, can still use loo,  as take a bottle of water with a cap of  laundry  liquid in ( for flushing the loo.), kept in loo so doesn`t get near to drinking water, a couple of water containers I use the 5litre size for drinking water/tea/coffee etc. kept under sink or in fridge.

Sorry cannot help with the rust problem.

Hi Steve and Federico - just saying 'HI' from North London as well (Highbury). Just bought a 1993 T4 Trident but am a real novice and don't know how to hook up the gas/electrics/water etc. and am also keen to look at another similar model as I think there is a board missing from the roof bed....I guess Federico would be best in this situation seeing as we have the same van - any chance you'd be up for meeting for a chat/compare?

My number is 07870 567212

Thanks!
