Hello

Hello, my wife Mary and I have just bought an AS Trophy. We are returning to motorcaravanning after a very long break, and we decided to start with a small van after having had a couple of big six berth vans before.
Now that the children have flown we want a day van with the ability to do overnights occcassionaly. This weeekend we did two little day trips to local attractions, both near Cardiff - Duffryn Gardens (National Trust) and the St. Fagans National History Museum. Both have been brilliant days out, and its just great to be able to go back to the van and have a break, something to eat and drink, and rest our feet. We are looking forward to many more trips and, when the warmer weather comes, to heading much further afield. The van has a few little things we need to rectify, but there is no rush. all in good time.

I was in St Fagan's this afternoon, too - playing the role of proud Tadcu, pushing my granddaughter around in the glorious sunshine. We live a mile or two from there, so it's a frequent favourite. And my first student job was as a garden labourer in Dyffryn House. That's coming on nicely with its restoration.
