Hi, we're new!
Hi everyone,
We are new to this. I am self-employed making loosecovers and cushions for a living. My other half is a retired electronics consultant. We live in Tring, Herts and have been keen campers and campervanners for ever! We have had a Stimson Sportique based on the Clio Mk1 for the last few years and various VWs before that.
We have just bought a 1984 Renault Trafic RV50. It made it from Liverpool to MKeynes before we had to be rescued and taken home by the RAC! Seems to be an electrical/ignition/distributor problem. It has everything in it except the cushions but I will be sorting those out myself. We plan to use it mainly at smaller festivals where we work as volunteer stewards in return for our tickets. We aim to be at Wychwood, Cornbury, Sidmouth Folk week and Towersey next year and maybe more now that we have a larger wagon. We have plenty of experience to share but very little knowledge of our new vehicle
