Powered habitation step for 2004 Nuevo
Hi. I want to replace the manual habitation step with a powered one.
As yet, I can't find anything that seems to fit and speaking to AutoSleeper technical was a waste of time as I was given wrong information !!
Has anyone tried and succeeded with this idea ??
Does anyone know a model of powered step that fits ??
Any help at all ?
Thanks

Our SeriesII 2007 Nuevo had a powered habitation step fitted... Not sure how different the SeriesI would be?

Pretty certain it was this Omnistep one

I'm sure another Nuevo owner should be able to clarify further.

I'd say that one is a direct replacement for the manual one (as fitted to my 06 Nuevo). Good luck with the improvement.

All sorted - I've done it
Thanks for the advice.
I have now fitted an OmniStep 550 and it's a perfect swop.
The mounting points line up well and it is easy to re-bolt.
The only problem was with the tow bar that had been fitted, it fouled the closing step a tiny bit.
A few washers dropping the step mounting solved the problem.
Wiring from the step light and fridge relay kept everything in the immediate locality.
Now, it opens and closes on the switch and closes automatically when the engine is started.
Just make sure no-one is standing on the step when you start the engine !!!!
