"private light goods or motorcaravan"
Hi all
just received my road tax notification which seems to go up year on year, my registration document says "private light goods" should it say motorcaravan not sure which is lower taxation class (if there is one)

If your renewal is £230 you are in the right taxation class.

As I understand it, there is no such Taxation Class as "Motor Caravan". That designation is shown (or not as the case may be) under Body Type.
Mine has Taxation Class of "PLG" and Body Type "Motor Caravan", and my road tax is the same as yours.

PLG must be a "Catch All" category as the little quad-bike below is classed and taxed as a PLG!

Hmmm...Very snazzy!
But a more comfortable bed to be found in our Legend!
..... Having been van-less for a couple of years, the taxation doesn't feel so hefty when compared with hotel prices!
