Picture this :-
1972, Wife, Self, 3 young children, home converted Ford Thames Camper, touring the Lake District.
Mid afternoon at the bottom of a wild valley.
Pulled well off the road next to a small stream for the night.
Kids play in the stream .... Magic.
At night, total silence, clear sky and stars .... Magic.
Next morning, woken up by the van rocking (not what you think hugegrins) a bullock using the van as a scratching post ....Magic.
Drove out of the valley and stopped at the first village shop, had a long chat with the lady owner and said where we had camped for the night. "Good job it didn't rain, that area floods about 2--3 feet" .... no longer a Magician uncertain
