Pop up beach huts
Pop up beach hut
I think I would be a tad annoyed if someone erected one of these in front of me. I was going to say "on the beach" but imagine them dotted all over in an open park. Think they should be banned.

Almost as annoying as an enclave made of windbreaks

Re: Pop up beach huts
Hi there,
I wouldn't worry about it.
"Skegness is so bracing!" remember and the wind will have it in Denmark in about an hour!
I notice that on the advert they have it anchored to a sea-wall; probably with 1" nylon climbing ropes!
Best regards,

Motorhomes/campervans
I think I would be a tad annoyed if someone parked one of these in front of me if I lived in a ground floor flat or house overlooking the sea. I was going to say "in a car park" but imagine them parked in a line all along the seaside promenade. Think they should be banned.
I'll get my coat ...

Boat-rocking time!!
I think the basic concept is GREAT, BUT, & its a big but, in your own garden or for the kids to play in, OR, if away in your van, well away from others, by all means 'pop' on up, or again, if you manage to find a sheltered, little seaside cove with no others about (as we did last summer in Anglesey), then yes.
Populated beaches, sites or parks, NO, but enforcing the different rules would be impossible I think.

No point in putting your coat on if you then have to start taking it off again!
Anyway, the ones that will pitch them in car-parks will turn up with a Hilti-Gun; and who messes with someone carrying a Hilti-gun!
Best regards,
PS
Just back from Riverside Camp Site near Hawick where ....
.... for three nights running, ....
.... some numb-nuts deliberately left the shower running in the Disabled Toilet/Shower area ....
.... thereby draining away all the hot and cold water and ....
.... flooding out the rest of the toilet/shower block!
Now THAT is the kind of annoying thing that campers apparently get up to; but thankfully not in Skegness Car Parks!!
