Hello
Hi
I'm new to the forum, and quite new to camper-vans. We bought a Ford Transit Duetto at the tail end of last year. So far we have visited France, Italy and Cornwall and made shorter trips within Wales - we live in the Tanat Valley in Powys. We are planning a trip to the Scottish Highlands next month.
I hope to gain advice from more experienced owners and maybe contribute something to the forums myself - when I have something useful to add.
Pieter

Re: Hello
Hi Pieter,
Welcome to the forum
Hope you enjoy the Highlands - we love them, usually go up there for a few weeks each year but haven't been able to this year.
Hoping to get away for a week or two at the start of next month, can't go too far, just around Kintyre and that area.
Frank

Re: Hello
Hi Pieter.... welcome to the forum. As a native of the Scottish highlands for 68 years, any infor you need about coming up here... just ask.
Frank ... Good choice the Mull of Kintyre.... some really good sites down there and the Argyllshire area is often overlooked by folks coming north. Also tends to have a better climate. I was born on a farm at Kilberry which is a peninsula just north of Kintyre. Take the B8024 from Tarbert. Port Ban camp site has now been developed there right on the shore, looking over to Islay and Jura.
Enjoy
