New member: Autosleeper Nuevo owners
Just a quick note to introduce ourselves.
We have been owners of an Autosleeper Nuevo 05 plate for 2 years. It is on it's 3rd owner now, and still hasn't got a high mileage. This is our first foray into motorhomes, we used to camp, but with age and dogs, suddenly the idea of sleeping on the ground became unattractive. We use the Nuevo for travelling around mountain roads, and it's short, so ideal. Sometimes have to drive on the wrong side of the road due to the height, but as one of the previous posters said, the bulge (second bed) takes a lot of gear, so is good for those who need to carry gear. John is walking the GR10, in the French Pyrenees, so it's a great support vehicle.
We have had to replace the waste water tank tap (it sheared off), renew the water pump (after a very hard winter, ....we thought we'd winterised it well ) but most of the other issues have been of our own making!
Must look up the posts about:
1) How to stop the radio switching off after 20 minutes
2) How to stop things falling out of the cupboards/fridge
3) How to make your waste tap bigger...
4) How to fix solar panels to the roof

The waste tap is a well know issue have a look through some older posts relating to this subject necessary specific to Nuevos but the CAK Tanks Straight though is one of the better options (grey valve body with red handle)

Thanks for the welcomes and user names
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome...snail trail....well I've been on the trail of snails for some 20 years! I'm interested in natural history and I love my mobile home, so for me it has a double meaning, for John, well it's just a user name...
Cheers
