Hello from Willenhall
We have recently just purchased our first Ford Duetto and we love it. We had a very short outing in it a couple of weeks ago (just to try it out) but found that our rather large Golden Retriever doesn't really fit properly (when the bed is made up) so had to buy an awning. Called to buy one which looked suitable when we were shown it on display, but when we got to the camp site and erected it, it was far too tall for the camper. We had to dismantle it and take it back and therefore had a very squashed night in the camper with Lacey (Golden Retriever), and Maisie (smaller and less well behaved Cavalier King Charles puppy). Not the best start We have now bought a really great "pop up model" online which will hopefully house the dogs next time we take them. We have put a TV and permanent aerial in the camper and done a couple of other modifications, and now can't wait to go out in it WITHOUT said dogs, just to get used to it without any distractions.

Hi Willenhall12 and welcome to the Forum.
It's a real dillemma wether to takethe dog or not isn't it?
Billy our Norfolk Terrier is just about getting used to it now and I must say he was the best behaved dog on the site last time he came with us.
Why not read this post and then show us some pics of yours?

Re: Hello from Willenhall
You are wise to accommodate the dogs in their own bedroom, my memory of camping with a dog is being waken by legs shoving me over to the side of the bed when he decided to get in between us
