Hello from Telford
Hello everyone. I have just traded in my 8 month old Autocruise Accent for a brand new Nuevo EK (For delivery mid-July) as the layout suits us better. Have spent several hours reading posts on this forum and have become very concerned about the number of you mentioning areas of damp within the first year or two of owning the van. Have I done the right thing or have I made a major mistake. I was under the impression that Auto-Sleeper was a good make. Please will some happy owners re-assure me?

Re: Hello from Telford
Hi there,
Welcome from what has been a sunny day in Skegness.
With regard to "damp" a lot of people don't realise that we breathe out something like 1 litre of water each during the night and many more litres during cooking and making tea etc.
Auto-Sleepers is an excellent make. (Our Duetto is 16 years old and still going strong.)
If there is no leak on a seam or window seal that is allowing rain into the van then there is usually quite adequate ventilation if it is used properly.
I therefore wouldn't worry too much, but bear in mind that the van needs ventilating when you are onboard; even in the coldest weather.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

Thanks for the welcomes . I will move my question about damp to another thread as I suspect not many will read it here.
