Hello
Hi everyone, new member here, looking to buy my first campervan, of course an Autosleeper. Not spending a fortune, so any advice will be greatfully received. Looking forward to checking out the site. Thanks!!

Re: Hello
Hi there,
Welcome from a sunny Skegness.
Main tips for buying a motorhome are:
o Set a budget.
o Work out what you want to do and who with.
o Use t'Internet to winnow out the models you don't want.
o Go find your perfect Auto-Sleepers motorhome from the resulting "short list".
o Always remember that the lass in the fairy tale had to kiss a lot of frogs to get a Prince!!
Enjoy.
Best regards,

Re: Hello
Hi Dutto
Thanks for that advice, there seems so many to choose from. Some of the older models models ie 1994/95/96 seem to be in better condition with less miles than the newer ones. This suits me and my budget just fine. Do all the models have seats that convert to a double bed, if not, do you know which ones do, i cant seem to work it out? Is there an old Autosleeper site anywhere with all the specifications and dimensions?
Thanks again.

Re: Hello
Hi there,
I only really know the old style Duetto that was based on a Transit Hight Roof LWB van.
It has:
o Two single beds that convert in to a double as required.
o Toilet and shower.
o Cooker with two hobs, grill and oven.
o Fridge.
o etc etc
"Petal" ticked all our boxes and after three years, 36,000 miles of driving and months living onboard we are VERY happy with her.
To save me from getting into trouble with Admin, I suggest that you think of your questions and then log them on the appropriate Sections. (i.e. This being the "Introduce Yourself" section.)

Re: Hello
Dutto is not in trouble, he is as many of are members are, just being helpfull.
Its better to post type/van queries where people who are interested in one type of van may respond quicker.
What they all have in mind though is you choose what is right for "you" Take time studying, looking and after a few months you should have an idea of what you need.
The era you are looking at were well made and made to last (the dreaded rust worm permitting !)
Have lots of fun looking

burlingtonboaby...Croeso y Gymru! Hope you are avoiding the thunder and the showers! ...Though the in-between bits are rather pleasant!
If near Llanelli, we can recommend Llwynifan Farm Park http://www.southwalescaravansite.co.uk/ adults only, super facilities, wonderful views Good pub food @ one mile.... not far from J48 M4
