We've just taken the plunge and traded in the caravan for our first motorhome, a 1999 Volkswagen Clubman GL 2.5 diesel automatic, which is in remarkably good condition for its age and very well equipped.  So hello to everyone.  I've already seen some very useful posts and hope in time to be able to contribute some myself.

Greetings from another Clubman GL couple.   We have had ours (named A'Tuin) for about 2 1/2 months now, driven about 1300 miles and just had our fifth night out in her with tonight being the first time we have done two nights on the trot.  Ours is the 2.4 x 5 cyl, 1994 version and if you are as happy with yours as we are with ours you'll be having a great summer. 
Perhaps we will meet up the road somewhere, ttfn
