vw trooper owners

has anyone fitted a fiamma 45 awning? how and any pics thinking of getting one.

...I thought about one of those to my T5 Trooper, couldn't see any way to mount it due to the thick plastic joining edge, wouldn't like to trust brackets screwed to it.
Mounting above it leaves very little room between plastic and roof edge.

So I abandoned the whole idea, and fitted a Caravanstore awning, slides in an awning rail, just about room for it.
Not quite as good as a Fiamma, but good enough for me...and far easier to fit.
And, it doesn't need to be on the van all the time, just slide it out and store indoors.
