1991 Auto sleeper Frisky petrol
I have had a couple of 'door step chancers'! Offering cash and quick hand shake.! Is there a genuine market for my old pride and joy? My other thought was sending it to Mathewson's of Bangers and Cash fame, they may have a better idea of value. Any ideas??

On a van of that age, the value is entirely dependent on condition, and you can't even really judge that by viewing photos, because you can't see enough detail in a typical set of photos.
Matthewsons should be able to give you an idea of value if you could persuade them to view it (or take it to them) though of course auction results can be very variable.
And yes - an older vehicle does attract the door step chancers. They know that there is potentially several £ks worth of profit in it for them if they can persuade you that it is worth almost nothing. On occasions I have had callers who think they have "the gift of the gab", come to test my patience and self-control!

There are 3 on ebay. 1 is listed as a Frisky, the other two just as Auto-Sleeper campervans. Two are on auction at £5000 with no bids one has a buy-it-now price of £6995.

There's also one on Ebay with bids starting at £600. The owner says he has had it for one month for restoration, and that he is moving it on because too much welding is needed!!!
