MES PUMP symbol

When the pump is turned off on the MES Control panel the 'tap' symbol is clear outline, when pump is switched on it should go to a SOLID Black tap symbol and when the water is running it should show a flashing symbol.  My system goes from the clear outline (when off) to flashing.  It doesnt show the solid tap symbol when switched on, only flashing symbol showing tap running water.  No leaks to be found.  Ive only just got the van so unable to say anymore.  I did empty all the water tanks fully and flushed out with sterilising fluid so could maybe have air in tanks and if so would/could this cause the problem with the flashing 'tap' symbol.

I don't know exactly how that type of control system was wired up, but at a guess there are a set of contacts on the tap which are supposed to close when the tap is physically open, and that switch (or the circuit to that switch) has failed.

If you can hear when the pump is running, I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as you're not seeing leaks anywhere. It doesn't (to me, at least) seem to be a critical indicator, if you can live with something that's flashing when it shouldn't be.

Thanks Roopert. the system doesnt seem to have any problems that I can find however I would like the symbol to stop flashing all the time, as if the tap is running.  Im wanting to attach a photo which shows the control panel but cant find where to do it.  Im new to forums

thank you.  I must be on a different reply page as Ive clicked on every symbol and none of them appear to say host a photo.  Can see youtube link etc but nothing for a photo
