We have now found a new van and hope to pick it up at the end of January so the Topaz needs a new home.....if anyone knows of anyone looking for a T5 Topaz do let me know.
He will have a new 12 month MOT next Monday
My wife and I have decided that with the elderly dog we do need something a bit bigger as the dog can be a pain and we are restricted outside of good weather with her as she doesn't travel well or walk very far...so we are putting our Topaz up for sale as we have seen something near us that would work well
Location: Wareham, Dorset
Price: £29,950
Age: 2008
Model: T5 with 2.5 TDI engine 130 bhp
Mileage: 90,000
Service History: Very good and will have a fresh oil/filter service included
MOT: Will have a fresh 12 months included as expires in Jan 2024
Recent work completed:
New bathroom sink tap and pipework sourced from Autosleeper
Fiamma T5 Bike rack
New Kenwood Apple Play head unit..original available
17" VW Thunder Alloys..original 16" Borbets with AS centre caps included
Heko wind deflectors
Underside steam cleaned treated, Gravitex and Waxoyl..pictures available....chassis was a good in condition already so preventative

Its a lovely T5 and we have had some great times this year in Cornwall, Devon and the New Forest...lovely to drive and easy to park anywhere

I’ve got a 2008 Topaz and I love it!!  Big enough for use as a camper but small enough to use every day. Fits in normal sized car parking spaces, although the height can sometimes be an issue with height barriers. However the hi-top is super convenient, particularly in poor weather as the van is ready to use almost instantly. Turn on the gas, light the fridge, spin the seat and make a cuppa - done!

The T5 Topaz was only ever made on the LWB van.

If you want an idea of the internal layout, a good starting point (before you go and look at one in the flesh) is to take a look on Ebay - typically you'll see ten photos, or sometimes more, for each van.
