Dozens of Autosleepers on club sites
Dozens of Autosleepers spotted during our 4 weeks tour, however only one with an ASOF sticker noticed on the rear tailgate door, the van was a Topaz on a cherry plates, only stopped overnight in Leyburn, thought it might have been Ricky ?.
Changed days when AS owners stopped for a wee chat.

Certainly was warm.
We were on our way home after nearly a week and chose that spot cos it was near the ablutions
Also in the shade when we arrived pm

Wouldn't dream of chatting to someone just because they're in an Autosleeper. Is it just me?

I've no longer got an Autosleeper, but still visit this site daily.
If I see an A/S on site and am passing while the owners are outside, I usually say "nice 'van" and they invariably continue the conversation. Once talking, I always ask if they use this website as it's such a useful and friendly place.

Pity we didn't see you NB, we had a nice 4 days there, with plenty of walks with Tag, abit muddy down at the waterfall though.
We used to have wee ASOF cards , supplied by ED a decade ago, membership was low then ,so chatting to other ASowners was one way of recruiting new members , never over stayed my welcome and never approached anyone just arriving.
Have a nice day.
