Cant say, although we have been over to Ireland I have always gone with a full tank. Davy may spot your post and answer.

Re: Southern Ireland
I have used Gasit refillable cylinders for many years now, so am not up to date with the scenario, but back in my caravan days the uk and Irish Calor bottles had different regulators and connections. I think it is still the same. Cannot comment on Flogas which is a major player in Ireland.
If you have a refillable tank you need an adaptor, but come full as suppliers are a bit scarce in the south. Not so bad in the north and we use a UK bayonet fitting.
Motorhomecraic is probably the best place for an answer. You can also get loads of info on stops. Worth getting their motorhomeparkingireland app for a few months for parking overnight. It also includes pubs, Aires and campsites. Searchforsites also worth looking at although fewer POI’s.

Re: Southern Ireland
According to Gasit, you need an Acme adapter (which Gasit sell) for the Republic of Ireland.
