I need a sucker!! (Advice).
Before I buy the usual six sets of the wrong thing, can anyone recommend which is the best device to beef up the suckers supplied on my new small awning for over the back doors?
I have been looking at the 'dent puller' type, (rather than the double handle variety sometimes used in bathrooms). There are so many different ones and I imagine the suction varies. I need 2 singles, probably of the kind with fold over handles to exert the vacuum.
The ones already supplied are fairly strong and a larger version of the sat nav suckers but designed to work alongside velcro ties. I have no anchor points for the velcro straps - hence the extra pads which I will fasten the ties to. There are some in white rather than the orange jobbies - But what size, what make?
Not so worried about the cost, so any advice about a very robust solution would be welcomed.
Happy New Year and safe travels to you all,
- Helena.

Re: I need a sucker!! (Advice).
Hi there,
I inherited one of the "fold-over handles" dent puller from my brother and I am amazed at the amount of suction that it generates.
It is a larger version of this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Am-Tech-2-inch-Mini-Suction-Cup/dp/B0036W70BG/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1388680075&sr=8-6&keywords=dent+puller
If you look at the review comments on these things you will see that most of negative complaints are usually about the fact that it didn't pull out a particular dent; but as this isn't what you want it for I think small ones (like the ones in the example) would suffice.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ian
PS Happy New Year from the man who owns two of almost everything due to buying the "wrong one" first; or forgetting that he already had one in the shed!!

- From the woman who has 2 of everything EEeeek!
Attached to the link was a larger one as you mention - Called Silverline. That looks about right. I had thought that perhaps the little ones were too small, needed it confirming but also didn't want to look unnecessarily like a Sputnik! - Many thanks.
