Ran out of WD40, so thought I would replace the one in the van with a 'small' one to save a little space. My local 99p shop produced quite a dinky little tin, just 20mm  as you would expect, for 99p.
This morning, in Wilkinsons, looking for an unrelated item I happened to notice that their WD 40 was £2.50 for 200mm. You do the maths, it makes me annoyed with myself. Incidentally, their own version of  the oil  was £1.00 for the same 200mm.

Hi there,

A mate of mine (a rather dour Grampian farmer) mutters "Buy cheap - buy dear!" whenever he makes a mistake like that; and so do I ….  tap_fingers

…. but it happens to the best of us ….  up!

…. I even lost a ten-bob note back in the 50's!  tap_fingers  tap_fingers

Best regards,

The thing is, sometimes it is just for convenience. A small tin takes up less room and is easier to store.
How much WD40 do you really need in the van when you are away!

From my experience the answer is "A squirt more than I have got with me."   tap_fingers
