New here! :)
Hi there,
We are collecting our old but lovely Autosleeper Trident (named Humpfrey) tomorrow night and are off in him on Friday. We have been looking for the past year for just what we wanted and can't wait till the weekend. We have spent many years camping and did venture down the caravan route a few years ago but didn't enjoy it at all. So we went back to the tents. However now we are getting a bit older and the children all grown up we want to have a bit more comfort and also be more mobile.
As we are very new 'newbies' we are looking forward to chatting to all you 'experts'.

A warm welcome to the Woodys from another Trident owner.
We also came to campervanning from a (trailer) tent.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours.
Cheers
Stevo

New here.
Hi there and welcome.
Can't say i'm an expert but some on the forum have fantastic knowledge.
Quite interested to know how you came up with the name Humpfrey for your new van?
All the best. Whisky.

Welcome from sunny Skegness. (Stop laughing - it really is shining!)
Oh, sorry, it just went in again!
Never mind. Just enjoy.

Re: New here! :)
Wow, thank you all so much for such a warm welcome!
Dutto, I've been to Skeggie and had a great time and yes, the sun did shine...... (one day!)
Paul and Carol... I love North Wales, Such beautiful views, though I must admit Anglesey is my favourite in that area with Abersoch a close second!
Whisky.....he just looks like a Humpfrey, of course.
Cruisingcomet.... may be looking you up for some advice in the future. Humprey looks lovely and is in really good shape for his age, runs well too, but we aren't expecting it to all be plain sailing.
Opppps Stevo, nearly forgot about you. Never had a trailer tent but did fancy one at one time. Think it was the towing again that put us off.

Welcome to the forum. There are plenty of Trident owners about should you need help. I have yet to see a van that the bed can be set up quicker than the Tridents (excluding vans with permanent beds of course_
