Evening Campers!

Hi, We finally managed to buy a 1990 TalbotTalisman GL just over a week ago having spent a while researching the right model for us. It then took a few months to find that model . We drove a 480 round trip to Somerset to fetch it & havent had time to take it out since. Dont laugh but as they are lifting sugar beet in  our area there is a lot of mud on the roads so im hoping to try to avoid that & drive it on a dry day:rolleyes: . We're looking forward to the spring & taking it camping as we've never had a van with heating or a shower before or even a gear box with more than 4 gears!! !! Our plan is to return to France & visit Brittany in the summer ( We did Normandy 18 months ago in our 33 yr old transit C I motorhome). We've camped in vans for 20 years.  Fiona & Dave

Hi there,

Welcome from sud France where it is cold      windy     with snow forecast for Wednesday!  

As a result we will be heading north west tomorrow towards Brittany where it is forecast to be fine until at least the weekend!!   

Here's hoping that when we get there they aren't lifting sugar-beet!!
