Hi everyone!
I've just joined the forum at the recommendation of a member who responded to a technical problem I have.
I retired early last year and so, with this my third Auto-Sleepers van, a limited edition blue Marquis badged 2004 Sussex - I've always wondered how many of these AS made - I've just got back from 1300 miles and 16 days wild camping on the Isle of Skye, Sutherland and Assynt, walking and scrambling parts of the Cuillin ridge and other summits, taking hundreds of photographs, watching wildlife, watercolour landscape painting on the few occasions when it rained and generally chilling out and enjoying such wild places as Sandaig (Gavin Maxwell's Camusfearna), Kylerhea, the Trotternish ridge, Sandwood Bay, and Cape Wrath.
Next week I'm off down to London to visit the Hampton Court Flower Show, Kew and Wisley and to do the sights, staying on the CC site at Crystal Palace then home here to the Lakes for fell walking and generally catching up over the summer, trying to avoid the hoards of tourists by wandering routes less well-known.
Would love to hear from like minded folk about their adventures,
Cheers
