Good evening all. Just found this forum and already have some mods to do from suggestions!
We have an '03 Symbol, bought in April this year. So far had several 4 day outings to N Wales,E Yorkshire and Lake District. Each outing seems to generate problems.... Duff hab. battery (warranty),failed tv antenna pre-amp(£27) and most recent sliding door upper guide roller (£60, yes £60 for a 15 bob bearing on a stick). One of the mods I like is rewiring the radio to eliminate the 20 minute cut-off. Still with the radio, it does not have the AVC (SVC?)function in the menu. Which means it's practically useless 'cos as the cab noise rises the radio volume has to be adjusted up and visa versa. The handbook says it's there but it aint!
Anyway, it's a great little 'van and we plan our next trip as soon as we get home.
