Hello we have just got one!

Hello All,
reluctantly decided to sell my little old river cruiser and get a motor-home. (mobility prob's making boating a pain - literally).
So we have done it! Bit hastily, but '92 harmony 2ltr petrol popped up locally, had a look - quite an old lady now but all very clean in and out, similar layout to much newer models, years MOT and taxed, decided to purchase, although boat not sold yet!!
Hence our joining this forum, and thanks in advance for all the useful information I sure I will gleam.

Hi there,

Welcome from what has been a muggy day in Skegness.

With regard to giving up the boat we can honestly say "Don't worry!".

After living on the above boat for eight years on the canals of France, Belgium, Holland and Germany we decided to change over to a motorhome two years ago for the same reasons (i.e. we are getting a bit decrepit).

We have used our knowledge of the canals to choose where to go in the motorhome and this April we cycled past our old boat in Castelsarassin; at which time we both thought "been there and done that" rather than having any regrets.
