hi every one
hello to you all. just call me green ant ,i am a road side recovery tec down on the south coast.
spent almost a year looking for our first motor home. this was possibly a fault of my own making.
the wife saw a boxer symphony, i then suggested we look at the larger motor homes up to date every one we looked at was the wrong interior colour or didnt like the outside. went out yesterday to look and the boss saw a boxer symphony on a r plate 1997 and decided thats the one so we will collect her next week. the only down side for me is that its petrol any. so to cut this short i will be asking you for advice.

Welcome from Paul and Carol in North Wales. 'Snap' , we also have an R plate 1997 Symphony with the 2litre petrol engine. You will I am sure know more about the technical side than me but I'll be happy to help with anything else you need to know if I can.

Welcome to the forum green ant. I dont think you will be too disappointed with the petrol engine. It obviously wont be as economical as a diesel but they do perform ok

Not for the mileage we do, only around 3K per year. We get around 23/24 mpg regardless of driving style and minor roads or M'ways.
