Welcome to the ASOF Trailguy. I am currently away on a wifi connection which seems to be holding up this morning, so i am scouring to see if any of the cards we have passed out, put on vans whilst in Ireland have signed up yet

Hi Trailguy,
Welcome to the Forum. Agree as to reason for joining. I am big fan of A/S.
Do you live in the Trossachs? or are you visiting this lovely part of our Country. Reason for asking, is my son and familiy, live in Callender.

Hi Andy,
We have lived about 6mls from Callander for the last 33 years, so well and truely rooted. It is a nice place to live, not too spoilt yet, but getting busier by the year. Excellent location to get away to more remote Scottish locations.

Hi squip,
We have a VW T4 Topaz, great van with plenty of umphhhhhhhh when you need it. Would recommend it to anyone. We always have Kayaks and/or bikes with us plus all the gear and dog and have no problems packing it all in.

I'll be down in Callander on 19/20/21 Aug with my Talbot Express - a few of us Talbot folks are meeting up on a site there.

Hi Trailguy,
Lucky you, living in this lovely area, particularly if you are keen on outdoor activities. My son and his family just love living in Callander for those reasons. He is doing the "metric hundred" this morning, and his family have been down cheering him on, as he came through the town. As you say, it is a great base for all the other great areas also.
Cheers Andy
