Hello from Michael
Hi and whoops! - a belated introduction appears to be in order. Guess I didn't read the small print. I feel like I just barged into someones living room. Truth is I'm only here for some tech advice on the carver P4 heater and I'm not very forum savvy. Hope that's ok.
I have a 1979 sherpa pop top camper van with old style wood interior made by autosleeper. i've had it 3 years now and and have spent the last 3 years living in it for the warmer 8 months. I bought it solely with the intention of going where the work is - as there ain't much goin on for me down in Devon. I have spent the last 2 * 8mnths living in it on the streets of London and working as a handyman/ decorator. During the winters my focus has been on improving the van and making it into a "wild camper" as more often not I don't have access to a hook up without goin cap in hand. So, other than organizing the interior for storage and living - It's all been about 12v - solar, alternator to battery charger - working on automatic inverter/hook up switch over for automatic charging etc, and want to install a vented heater so that I can extend the working year.
