PPI Texts
Even after other fraudsters have been nicked followed by a TV News crew, and the issue has had a lengthy feature on Watchdog, I am still being told I have two claims awaiting me to confirm. One for over £2500 and the other over £4500
I wonder if I can claim some form of compensation for repetitive strain injury to my thumb brought on by constant deleting
I have been rather quiet since leaving the campsite wardens job

Phone Blocking
Hi there,
On every mobile and on most modern home phones there is a "phone number blocking" facility.
Everyone I want to contact me has my mobile and home phone numbers. All of my phones are "blocked" so that when I phone someone the phone doesn't transmit my number.
I have had this facility for years so if ANY cold caller manages to phone us my wife and I are pre-programmed to shout "Where did you get this number?" and regardless of the answer "Please give me your companies name and address."
At this stage most of the callers hang up and never bother us again. The few that actually try to explain that they got the number by legitimate means still don't hand out their own telephone numbers or addresses and they do seem to strike us off their lists as well.
Hope this helps someone!
Best regards,
Ian
