hello everyone
we have just completed our first long trip in our newly acquired 1984 talisman auto sleeper which has been transplanted on to a 2000 citroen relay chassis.we drove from Newcastle to Tarbert on Mull of Kintyre and then on to Applecross driving over the top, very scary but worth it for the views. Came back via Skye, Fort William and back to Tarbert and many lovely stops in between. Met some very nice people. Swapped loads of tips with other auto sleeper owners. We love the way every one driving motor homes waves. Weather was brilliant, no midges these creatures usually lie in wait for me. looking forward to our next trip dont know where yet.

Hi littlehouse
As Paul says your vans sounds fascinating
Howzabout telling us a bit more about how you did the transplant?
Cheers

Hi and welcome from one newbie to another
I changed my trip from Scotland to Suffolk just recently because of the midge problem in the warm weather. Looks like I made a mistake.the good thing about the site is the contact you have with others to pass on info. Like you a midge can see me coming from miles away. Whisky.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
I am thinking of visiting Mull of Kintyre later in the year. What were your impressions? Are there wildcamping spots?
