Hi all, after 6  years with our excellent Mazda Bongo and many great European tours we decided to go a little bigger. Placed deposit on a 99 Legend Autosleeper. Looking forward to collecting and delving. TIA for your patience on my future questions. :)

Welcome.
We bought a Mazda Bongo in New Zealand when we toured there for six months.
Great little van, but living in it and setting up the bed for 180 consecutive nights was character building to say the least. We did shed a tear though when we finally had to leave it and fly home.

There will be someone on the forum with answers to most questions.

Thanks folks, we woke up highly excited this morning and many plans are now afoot. I've been into vans since the late 80's. This van which I collect in about a fortnight we're going to bring up to a high running spec and keep hopefully for decades 😬

Had a light skim through the forum. What an absolutely excellent resource. I hope to contribute where I can. I am a retired mechanic with reasonable electrical skills. Can't wait to stick a cuppa on in the van and get into it!

Planning a big run out into Eastern Turkey and beyond. Wondering if there are a goto set of wheels with decent offroad/expedition type tyres? Just back from a trip to Cappadocia and it gave us a thirst to go further. Hence, the legend buy.
