Control Panel Glitch
My 12 year old Nuevo control panel [EC328T] tells me that: Mains Supply is OFF when I am hooked up and all appliances are functioning. This is still driving me crazy. I always switch off and on at the fuse box when hooking up/unhooking.
As ever, any suggestions most welcome.

Re: Control Panel Glitch
A reboot of the CP might cure it.
"Control panel software may have crashed. Reboot control panel by
turning off the EC328PSU charger switch and removing fuses 1 & 2
at the EC328PSU (2x20A fuses for leisure and vehicle batteries).
Wait 30 seconds then replace the fuses and turn the charger switch
on.
(Alternatively, remove the bezel at the control panel by pulling down
in the centre at the bottom, unplug the control panel multi-way
connector, wait 30 seconds, then plug back in and reassemble"

Re: Control Panel Glitch
Thank you, Peter.
I tried the second option and all went well [I wasn't prepared for the Start Up beep on reconnecting but I will calm down eventually]. Unfortunately this has not solved the issue but thank you for your help.
I might just have to learn to ignore it.

Control Panel problem solved
On reading a post on another thread I would this reply:
I think I know the problem. If you go to your control panel and scroll to the main screen, does it say EC328 rather than EC325?
If it does, the only effect on normal operation you will get is the loss of the mains on signal (the two systems are compatible other than they use a different pin on the data cable to denote mains on). Assuming this to be the case, you can either leave as is and you will have no problems with the use of the system, or you can go into a 'hidden' menu and change the panel type on the control panel.
If you wish to do this, simply carry out the following:
1) Ensure the control panel power button is switched OFF.
2) Scroll to the main EC screen (The one which tells you which panel type eg EC325 or EC328 etc)
3) Press and hold the middle arrow button. After a few seconds you will get a beep and a list of panel types, you can then use the up and down arrows to move through them, once you get to EC325 simply press the middle arrow button to exit to normal operation, your panel will now be en EC325 type.
If you accidentally exit on the wrong panel type, don't worry - all panel types are electrically compatible, just go back into the list and change to the correct type.

So, thanks to Dan Howlett, problem solved. My control panel now shows Mains Supply ON when it is.
What a great Forum!

Re: Control Panel Glitch
If your EC328 is switched OFF then the mains supply will show as OFF even when EHU is connected.

Thanks, Ron
Having worked through the above process everything is working how I believe it should.
I see that your Lancashire is only a year younger than mine; any tips would be more that welcome.

Re: Control Panel Glitch
EC328 is a good panel - much better than 500 or 700 even if it does give less information. Make sure you check battery voltages at least every 6 weeks. Most confusing aspect is Truma heating/hot water controls but I think that you may have a different heating system with a convector heater and separate water heater rather than a combination boiler and fan heating. Mine is a good van and I've had no real issues to deal with. You will need to regularly clean the fresh water level sensors - I put citric acid in the tank and leave it overnight before rinsing it out. That needs doing annually. You may also want to consider putting some closure rubber around the rooflight - on mine there was merely a strip across the front with nothing down sides or rear so the wind noise at speed was appalling. Extending it all round silenced that. I've added rear sensors and a better camera which has made a huge difference to rear view. any specific issues send me a pm or post on here.

Re: Control Panel Glitch
Thanks for that, Ron.
The first thing I did was to install a reversing camera so that I can reverse in confidence. You are right that our boiler and fan heater work independently of each other. I will attend to your other tips when I get back to Britain in June.
