Hello from Spain!
Just saying hello to everyone. We moved to Spain 2 years ago and bought a Peugeot Executive which has been matriculated. Already toured a lot of Europe and had the best time with our motorhome. She's a 1999 model and goes like a dream. However she has recently required some tlc and finding parts is pretty difficult. I'll leave that for now and look forward to readingĀ everyone's posts. Cheers. Graeme

Re: Hello from Spain!
Welcome!!!
My 2002 Exec is totally at home in Spain, goes every year, this year Pyrenees, next May Green Spain to Vigo then back to Bilbao.
Bits can be hard, my new side window arrives today, 8 weeks delivery and they need the old one!
You've come to the right place, all knowledge, more or less is here.
To help, if you're looking for a particular problem go to SEARCH on the front page first, whatever problem you have, someone else has already had it!
After that go to Members Factsheets, an encyclopedia of AS! To see mine, got to Executive, a new project, there's a mass of stuff the, sadly, late Roli put together from my posts in there.
Where, in Spain??

Re: Hello from Spain!
Hi Ian thanks for that. I just fitted 2 pvc side windows. They're just a single sheet of pvc sheeting cut to size. The other option was to go back to the UK and wait 8 weeks for them. Fingers crossed they'll be fine. I've just ordered new back light casings and now searching for new casings and fittings for the two external lights above the cab.
We live in a village called Galera, inbetween Granada and Murcia. Its actually a cave house in the mountain village. Very cold this time of year so the motorhome is perfect for escaping to the coast lol

We have been here for 50ish days now and it’s our 5th Autumn trip (and we were in Spain/France in the Spring too) - we find it fabulous in Europe, so much easier than in the UK!!

Definitely easier than the UK. We done a whistle-stop European tour and found the Portugese the least habitable so far as motorhomes go. Spain has some nice free stop overs but I have to say France was the most welcoming. Ooo, this could kick off a bit of feedback lol

Re: Hello from Spain!
We plan to investigate Portugal a little more next Autumn. We love Spain, have spent time to learn a little Spanish too which helps and love mountains so the places we visit are often different than most. Lots of tinySpanish towns and villages are very accommodating, we had free camping and 3 nights electric for 5€ a week or so ago and 10E per night for the same with showers and toilets too last week. The inland villages are beginning to cotton on to it all.
France is great but rather expensive these days and rather too many Brits for our liking in many areas….
We are off to Italy this Spring!!! With wing mirror protectors…

Where did you go in Spain? 10 euros a night is appealing lol. Italy is beautiful, but wise to go with the protectors
