Just an update about vaccinations as this seemed an appropriate place as any on ASOF.

I eventually had my 3rd vaccination at my GP's 3 weeks ago. I asked the nurse for a card with my third vaccination details on, similar to those I had on my previous 2 vaccinations. No, I would have to use the NHS App. I don't normally use a Smart phone, the one I use is more like a tin can with a bit of string on the end. My wife had her 3rd vaccination 2 weeks before mine yet she had been given a card. She'd gone to a venue near us run by some pharmacy organisation, not our GP's.

I did eventually get a paper record of my vaccination details of my first two from the NHS, which I suppose counts as a covid passport. It required some phone calls but not to our GP. Currently this document doesn't have details of my third vaccination, and it should be the same for other people, for now.

I'll be due a 4th vaccination in about 6 months. It's not been widely publicised but so should a significant number of other people too.
Last year I was classified as being in the shielding group, the hospital considered that I was and potentially still am immunocompromised. Yesterday by telephone I had a clinic appointment with my consultant. He commented on what he considered was the possible ambiguity in the JCVI's announcement concerning the terms "booster" or "third vaccination". Mine should be referred to as a third vaccination. Incidentally all was well and hopefully we will make contact again as usual in 6 months time.

I phoned 119 that's how I got my paper certificate.
I'd phoned a community health organisation first a week earlier.
The system shouldn't but often does expect you to have and use a Smart phone.

You should get the 3rd one on a new 119 call.

Have you a paper record of your third vaccination after asking for one via a phone call to 119?

No mine is old. But from 19th nov should be able .
Not going abroad again till dec 15th.  So will get my new one early december.
Its the best way as doctors system here is no good.
