I was not expecting water there
I was running the kitchen tap into the sink for a while just to run some water through the waste tank. The whale pump was hooked up and the waste drain hose was open. Anyhow after a while, I noticed a load of water cascading from behind the rear wheel arch. I turned the water off and discovered (eventually) that it seems to be coming along the floor and out of the rear door. The connections under the sink are fine and the cupboard under the sink is bone dry. I have called Marquis, but they close for the weekend in a few hours and I’m going away on Sunday. Any clues? You can’t see much in these pictures except damp fabric and a bit of remaining water. It’s probably the first time I’ve run the tap for more than a short time.

Steve,
The only time I had a leak was from the very poorly fitted waste pipe from the sink. there was very little pipe in the connection, AS saving money? so I stuck mine together with pipe glue and no problem since. I know you have said it is dry under there, but might be worth a second look. I would also fill the fresh tank, disconnect the supply hose and then run the tap, to see if the I/P was at fault.
Just simple things I know, but you might hit the jackpot.
Hope you get away and find the problem, oh dear and it's another new van and I expect the dealer is fully booked for ages.
Maybe Chris was right after all about Carthago

I will test it again tomorrow unless it’s chucking it down. Marquis were going to call me back in 10 minutes over an hour ago but as expected, they haven’t. I’ve checked to make sure there’s no water under the seat where the fresh water comes into the van, but that’s dry as well.

I just tested it by putting half a bucket of water down the sink (5 litres) and that was enough for it to come flooding out again. I’m going to go to Marquis and see what they say. Otherwise I can’t use the kitchen sink.

To be fair to Marquis, they have fixed it. It’s useful living 10 minutes away sometimes. It was a floor level connector behind the consumer unit. The very same consumer unit which they removed to check the solar controller recently, though. It might be a coincidence.

Glad they fixed it ok. Little bit of glue would not go amiss.
I do wonder when I read of people buying vans miles from home and at shows.
Enjoy your trip and the washing up
