Stecca Solar Charge Controller

I have this Solar Charge Controller on my 2015 Bourton, can anyone advise me if this is an original fix or an after fit by a previous owner. I don't have any paperwork to tell me what it does, any information would be welcome.

I fitted this to mine, but it's now 10 years old, maybe yours is a more recent model.
