LPG Shortage
Elsewhere on the forum there is a section about a shortage of Garages now selling LPG from bulk filling pumps. I cannot post on there but wanted to say that I have found that most "Morrisons" Supermarket filling stations still sell bulk LPG.

Re: LPG Shortage
I don't know why you say you can't post on another thread but i put a link to a list of Morrisons stations that have LPG on that thread via Safefill. Not all Morrisons have it.

Re: LPG Shortage
Thanks Paulmold,
All I can say is that that entire section has big Red Crosses on it and a legend saying that i am not allowed to post on there. I assumed that it was because I am new and "On Probation"
I am a bit concerned about the number of garages taking out their LPG pumps now that Autogas is going out of favour since the advent of Electric power and Hybrids

Re: LPG Shortage
There are no red crosses when I look at that thread and nobody is put on probation except for the PM system which only activates after 7 days (so you're well past that as well) so I don't understand what's happening for you.

It might be down to my inexperience with this forum, but that section is stlll blanked out with Red Crosses and the legend that I do not have permission to post there.
No matter - I still got my concern across.

Re: LPG Shortage
We were often struggling to find lpg when not in our local area but we have discovered the myLPG.eu app which works well and often gives the current prices although not so important when we only seem to get about 10 litre and that’s with the red light on but that should mean we have a day or two to find it after the red light appears if the tank holds 80% of 25lts

It's not helpful to you to be shut out of some threads if you'd like to take an active part in this forum. You were obviously allowed to post in this thread so that is what I don't understand unless you are doing something between looking at one thread and posting on another. You wouldn't be logging off in-between would you?

TF, I’ve never come across that. Any chance of a screenshot?

TW,
Down to my inexperience I think, it was in the info section and I believe all sections are reserved for admin staff.
I’m finding my way around now.

That'll be it then. Only Admin can post in that section.

Re: LPG Shortage
Not sure if this has previously been mentioned but I have downloaded an app names FillLPG which shows a map of petrol stations selling LPG and their prices. This is updated more or less on a daily basis by users. Hope this helps.

It's been mentioned lots of times (usually by me). I've been using it for about 3 years, ever since I got the underslung tank. I find it very good and always update it whenever I see a garage displaying the price whether I fill up or not.
