Broadway window blind & flyscreen not closing
We have a Broadway EK and are having problems with the window over the driver/passenger seats when we pull the blind up to close it the fly screen won't stay at the top (ie. closed) and drops down opening the blind part way.
I thought it might have been if the vehicle wasn't completely level but it certainly wasn't on a big slope and it never happened until last trip out - any ideas or experience of such and how to resolve would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Broadway window blind & flyscreen not closing
We have had this happen twice with our EK. The man who can tell you what caused it is out at the moment but we took it to Autosleepers who sorted it.
As I remember there is a small black square of rubber-like material about 3/4 of the way up the right hand side of the blind, on the cords. This had misplaced itself and would not allow the blind to be pulled up properly or stay that way. AS had to remove the blind unit to deal with it.

Thanks - sounds costly ? Will have a look next week when we are out again and see if I can see what you mean and whether it can be fixed ourselves !

Re: Broadway window blind & flyscreen not closing
The small square black bits that Quilter refers to ensures the fly screen slides in the channel with a noticeable amount of friction of which ours requires quite a lot of effort. Presume the reason being is to prevent the problem you are experiencing. An inexpensive and hopefully a quick fix is to get a length of self adhesive 'Valcro' 25mm wide (only using the loop piece) say 50mm in length on each side at the top of the channel. We purchased the brand named 'crelando' hook and loop tape set self adhesive' from Trago Mills but 'Valcro' is widely available from a high street haberdashery shop.

It should still be under warranty (certainly if 2nd year hab check done)
