Milenco wheel clamps
Does anybody have (and use) a Milenco wheel clamp? The 3 part thingies. The first part books over the top of a wheel, the right leg gets slid in followed by the left leg. The key is turned and removed.
Removal is just the reverse of fitting.
Do you have any tips to make removal happen in time to avoid late departure fees?
I haven't had the courage to actually fit it to my van so appreciate it may become easier when held in the correct position but so far I am having limited success. HELP.

Re: Milenco wheel clamps
I have one. When I remove it i find by putting my hand under the first part (over the wheel) and holding it off the ground it comes away very easily. The weight is then not on the ground. Easy. let me know how you get on as i hope I have explained myself.

Re: Milenco wheel clamps
Thanks Rose,
I am too worried to actually try them on here just in case it gets stuck but we are heading home tommorow and staying still for about 10 days. This should give me plenty of opportunity to get used to it.
If I can't get it off I may be back.

Thanks again Rose. I tried them again but this time on a wheel rather than in the air and it came apart far easier than it did yesterday. Not overly easy but easy enough to convince me it will get better.

Get your hand under the middle bit ( to get first bit off the ground not all of it) then turn the key. Wd40 where front and back go into middle bit. I do this in the winter as l think it might go rusty. Helps it slide and doesn't hurt it.
