I cannot really comment on the prices, as they seem to vary so much, but if you have found a good reliable Garage it sounds good to me.

I will add that they are totally correct in my mind to recommend an interim oil/filter change, I know others on here have said in the past I am wasting money, but I would rather not have an expensive engine replacement.

I did actually change the oil myself using genuine parts last year, I have the first MOT next year.

Yes I agree with you Richard. I will be having an interim oil and filter change from now on, it’s not worth taking the risk.
