Symbol water feature ! Empty Symbol water feature !

Recently we suffered a flood in our  2014 Symbol and water flooded out from under the shower cubicle and the cupboard below the wardrobe.
Every time the loo was flushed the deluge of water started again. The cause was a push in 90 deg flush water feed connection. This "push in" to the left side of the  cassette  had "pushed off". (Perhaps when the cassette was removed for emptying.) Result was the flush just filled the void under the cassette until it decided it was high enough to escape into the van.
It may be an idea to add a jubilee clip to the connector to prevent accidental disconnection.

I had the same problem and solved it with a jubilee clip. Obviously a bad design feature, not had a problem since.

There have been many posts relating to water leaks from what have been described as poor joint assembly. Lack of solvent and general build quality are just two of the complaints. Our three vans have suffered leaking from bad joints, the latest in our current van when rising pressure in the fresh water tank forced water to escape from a distressed joint adjacent to the solenoid because the pipe was too long. The habitation check required the offending pipe to be shortened by 3mm to allow the joint to align at the correct 90 degrees. The previous Broadway and Nuevo both with the bathroom/shower swing  door, the sink drain pipe readily fell off flooding the shower tray and all for the lack of a jubilee clip. Perhaps less of a problem compared to other owners but we have recently suffered up to 30 per cent damp levels under offside bench and sink due to poor/lack of adhesive surrounding both EHU and LPG points. Fortunately, damp levels last month had reduced after repair several months ago.
