NFOP Holiday Insurance
The National Federation of Occupational Pensioners is one anyone can join for £1.70 per month if my memory serves me. I have been a member since I retired but have only just found out about their insurance scheme.
Up to 79 there is no health qualification providing you are not diagnosed as likely to die on the trip. It counts for cruises is worldwide, including the US and seems pretty comprehensive. £185 for a single running from March to March or part of, and £255 for a couple. It beats the £700 I am paying now.
Some of you may find it useful. I would be interested if anyone has used it.
