Hi all, I am new to this site.
I have a ford Autosleeper Ravenna and have been out in it quite a lot but always using electric hookup. Just wondering if anyone could give me some info on using the leisure battery not sure whether to turn the mains switch on etc..... Help would be greatly appreciated as i am worried about it going flat and being stuck.

Welcome from N.E Wales.     handshake

If not on hook-up you don't need to switch main switch on but as it won't do anything why not just leave it on, I leave it on all the time.

Thanks for that, what will i be able to use with the leisure battery? Lights? How long will the battery last roughly?

Lights, toilet flush (unless yours is manual), water pump and blower on heater (and maybe TV) all work from leisure battery . Blower drains battery most so don't use it when not on hook up. Can't say how long battery will last, that depends on size of battery and how many lights you have on but if you can switch some bulbs/strip lights to LED's then battery will last longer.
