Once again it's Paulmold to the rescue for Christmas presents for son-inlaw... and me!

Thanks for the alert, Paul: just got them. I'd been given a GoPro Hero camera a year or so ago, but it lacked the 2 features which I really wanted (and which the Aldi one has): loop recordings, and G force motion detector. So have been looking out for proper dashcams - especially after a stone flew off the top of an unsheeted lorry last month and broke the van's windscreen (mind you, because my wife managed to jot down its registration number, I was able to obtain the address of the registered keeper via DVLA - for a good reason and £2.50 - and to my pleasant surprise the lessee of the vehicle acted very honourably and refunded my insurance excess and the £2.50.)

It'll be good to have a full HD dashcam, especially with 32GB microSD, for £40.

Thought it looked good value especially as a 32gb SD card would cost around a tenner.

Watch out for Lidl offers from 27th - car accessories but don't know what the products are yet.
