External light
All, am I missing something here since, whilst there is a surfeit of internal lights in the Winnie, an external under awning light would be useful whilst sipping fermented grape juice during the balmy evenings here in La Belle France!
The 'find the door' light which activates when the key fob is pressed is a useful guide when looking for the van, however a light to enable bottle opening and pouring would be good. Anyone has any home-made ideas please? Andy

Re: External light
Hi Andy
Are you sure you haven't got one??
Sounds a daft question I know, but it looks from the gallery photos on A/S website as if you have the same as us.
The little "eyebrow" over the hab door on ours has a strip of LED lights built in. It's switched on and off via the "Aux" button on the Sargent control panel. The latest ones certainly have it - described in the blurb as "LED strip awning light"
If you don't have this, it might be worth contacting Mark at A/S Service Centre to see if your eyebrow could be replaced. It's very neat and works well, but I have to say it would be more convenient to have a light near the middle of the awning, rather than at one end.
Hope this helps.
Dave
P.S. I promise not to take the wee wee (well, not too much!!) if you do have one!

Re: External light
Hi Grommit thanks. Yes we do have that one - doh, I didn't realise it can be left on as you note. One day I'll get around to reading the manual!
Will see if it throws much light this evening, however, timing may mean that results in opening a second bottle: what a shame!
As you note, a light about mid-body length would be ideal. Thanks again AndyAndy
