I'm new
Hi all,
Thanks for allowing me to join. I bought a 1995 Transit Long wheel base Duetto in March. I am a big motor racing fan and together with my son go to BTCC, BSB and other events around the country. I bought it because last year I was taking 2 hours to put up my tent and watching other race fans turn up at Snetterton and just stopping their vans, getting the chairs out, BBQ on and beer in hand in about 10 minutes, meanwhile I'm still banging pegs in!!
I joined because I wanted to find out more about it and I am curious as to why it doesn't look like the others of the same year, it's similar but not the same. However I will ask that question in he correct area. I also want to learn about the components on it as it came with no instructions! I found this site by searching on the internet, what a wonderful thing it is!
Hope I will get answers I'm after.
Thanks for reading!

Re: I'm new
a hello wave from Kenley.
If you go to the September Silverstone BTCC look out for a 2016 Nuevo camped for the weekend, it might be me.
We bought the tickets some time ago before I decided I NEEDED to go to Hungary for the DTM race the next weekend so I won't be staying around too long.

Welcome. There was a Transit recently on EBay which was listed as being a Duetto but wasn't, it was a home conversion but was on a later shape Transit than 1995. In what way is yours different?

I bought this locally from here. It was advertised as a Duetto, I researched it and it looked similar. It just doesn't have the Brown panels on the sides and I haven't seen any others like it, I was going to ask on another forum as I didn't want to take this up. Two photos below.
